At the beginning of our stay on Ajna, someone I know found a piece of rock. In itself it wasn't surprising, until more recently when three other similar pieces were found. A few days ago these rocks started to glow, and they revealed that they each had symbols etched into their surface.
We have managed to translate those symbols to numbers, but I don't believe that the numbers are all there is to it.
[ In short, what he's trying to say is: he was hoping to pick your brains about this, maybe. ]
I can show you what we have. Currently my notes are at the rover - I thought it best to see if you were interested first.
[ Also, if he loses those notes, he's toast. ]
I'm inclined to believe that the pieces are part of a larger whole, but it's difficult to tell where from. There's no obvious jagged edges, and they don't match anything that I've seen on Ajna before. However, they were all found in caves or underground, and were buried or lodged in the earth when we found them.

What are the numbers? And perhaps, more importantly, what's your theory on it?
[Having a direction might help give the numbers context.]

They're not like puzzle pieces, then? And if you're willing to loop me in, I'd be happy to assist in any way I can.
