He's a dangerous opponent and a high-ranking ninja. The two things most people remember about him though is that he's supposedly copied a thousand techniques and apparently once cut a lightning bolt in two.
He definitely was. The fire thing he did is something called ninjutsu--those are the techniques I was talking about. It's not just limited to fire, though.
[ Lots of variables, here. It leaves him wondering, if only a little. Either way, this has shed a little light on the more enigmatic of his team mates. ]

I suppose "depends" is true of many of us, in that instance.

Ah, but where are my manners? I'm sure you've noticed by now, but I'm November 11– though I also go by Jack if that's more to your liking. It's very nice to meet you.
omg yes come to me pink haired cutie
I assure you I'm not dying. However, seeing as I'm not the intended recipient, that may not be relieving in any way.

Oh, sorry. I don't know why this went to you.

No harm, no foul. I believe the network isn't working properly at the moment.

Moreover, considering the original message– I have my doubts that Kakashi is in trouble; he's rather resilient.
[ after all, the man did wipe the floor with him once. he won't forget it. ]

We're talking about the same Kakashi, right? White hair, perpetual slouch, used to have a red eye, reads porn in public?

If anything, I'm expecting to find him in a hospital bed because the idiot overworked himself again.
no subject
That fits the physical description, certainly.
FROM: 11.november@cdc.org
I'm not so certain I've ever seen him overwork any part of himself, quite honestly.
no subject
Maybe my telling him he needs to do a better job looking after himself is finally sinking in.
no subject
Potentially. Are you two close?
no subject
We're teammates back home. He helped train me when I was starting out.
[ which really doesn't cover it but, haha, like she's saying any more than that to someone she doesn't know. ]
no subject
Training, hm? It doesn't seem his style. Though, I imagine he'd teach well if he put his mind to it. He's not an easy opponent.
no subject
You've fought him?
no subject
Once. It was a learning experience, really. He's very quick.
no subject
That he is. He's got his reputation back home for a reason.
no subject
What sort of reputation? Aside from the avid porn reader sort, of course.
[ this would've been good to know a few months ago. ]

no subject
A thousand techniques? I don't quite follow. Cutting a lightning bolt in half is rather impressive, rumour or not. It stemmed from somewhere.
no subject
How did the two of you fight? Was it only hand-to-hand?
no subject
For the most part. He used a bit of fire, which required the fastest hand gesture I've ever seen. I got the feeling he was holding back, though.
no subject
He definitely was. The fire thing he did is something called ninjutsu--those are the techniques I was talking about. It's not just limited to fire, though.
no subject
Does he tend to do that? Hold back, I mean.
[ on one hand, they were sort of teammates, on the other... dagger had been asking them to try and actively kill each other. ]
no subject
Depends on what opponent he's facing and what else was happening at the time.
no subject
And if said opponent was trying to actively kill him?
[ Some things aren't quite lining up. ]
no subject
Like I said, it would depend on what the opponent is like. How skilled they are, why they're trying to kill him, etc.

Haruno Sakura. It's nice to meet you too.
no subject
Well then, Haruno-san, what do you make of your time here, thus far?
[ what a loaded question. ]
